Throughout the duration of the 12th Berlin Biennale, Myriam El Haïk is present each Thursday afternoon to carry out a ritual of performing a large-scale wall-drawing and the original composition for piano Please Patterns. Both transform space, time, and their perception.
This performance is part of the discursive program of the 12th Berlin Biennale. Taking the restitution debate as a starting point, it explores how colonialism and imperialism continue to operate in the present.
