Walking Along Atmospheric Walls

The focus tour Walking Along Atmospheric Walls is a collaboration between the art education department of the 12th Berlin Biennale and students of the Masters Art in Context at the Berlin University of the Arts. It is intended to facilitate an entry into the exhibition at Akademie der Künste, Hanseatenweg, and to make the venue tangible sensorially. Starting from the transition space between the exhibition rooms and the atrium of the building, visitors are invited to move atmospherically through the exhibition and to perceive the different conditions of the (exhibition) spaces. The space of the garden is brought into dialogue with Temitayo Ogunbiyi’s work You Will Order Taxonomies According to Your Days (2021–22).
Focus tours invite you to explore inside and outside the exhibition space and sharpen your seeing, listening, and thinking, based on specific themes. Focus tours are a mix between public tour and workshop. They are free of charge and are organized by the Berlin Biennale educational team.
